We need your help to make our public Garden a reality. Your generous gift, large or small, makes you a participant in transforming our community! Our Garden is not a mere added decoration. Note that any donation at any of the Contribution levels listed below qualifies the donor as a member. The current membership period extends through December 2010. Members receive a card, a subscription to our newsletter, Branching Out, invitations to HBG events, and acknowledgement on the Web site as well as in the newsletter. They also receive a 10% discount on HBG-related purchases, such as Bulb Festival Sales Tent items.
All donations go directly to Hollandia Botanical Gardens; we hold official status as a public charity: 501-c-3. Because HBG does not at this stage provide benefits that the IRS defines as “substantial,” all donations are fully tax deductible. Direct Donor Deposit HBG has arranged with the Automated Clearing House (used by the Federal Reserve) and Security National Bank to accept donations by direct deposit from your account into our own. You specify the amount per month and the number of months. Contact the Executive Director for details.
Credit Card For this form of payment we have chosen to work through PayPal, the national leader in secure online processing. (Many of you know PayPal as the system used for e-Bay transactions.)
Hints for an easy transaction
--You do not need a PayPal account to make your donation. If you do not have a PayPal account, simply ignore any box that invites you to log in to your account. If you do have a PayPal account, you are free to use it--or not.
--Use the Tab key to move from one box to the next. Or single click into any new box to begin entering information in that box. Do not use the Enter key. It will send you to a routine that requires you to enter "missing information"--certainly not a critical event but a bit annoying.
--Card expiration date--the "CSC" box: For MasterCard and VISA, CSC is the last three (3) digits appearing after your signature on the back of the card.
--When you've completed your donation, you'll receive an immediate e-mail confirmation from PayPal. HBG will receive a similar e-mail notification. We will also follow up with our own letter of acknowledgement to you.
